I love the concept of time travel and all the difficulties and consequences that it may bring, that is essentially why I love Doctor Who.

I enjoyed reading Lance Parkins Eighth Doctor novel The Gallifrey Chronicles, and it contains within it’s pages a wonderful moment where the Doctor’s companion Fitz sings about the pitfalls of time travel, the melancholic lyrics have stuck with me for a long time, so I thought I’d include them here.

Moffat’s Dark Nights : We’ve been browsing the brand new Doctor Who: The Brilliant Book 2012 and read with interest some words from Steven “The Grand Moff” Moffat. While avoiding releasing anything too revealing – after all, this book will be a Christmas present for thousands – Moffat confirms that Rory and Amy won’t be in this year’s Christmas Special but they will return next season!
